In 2020 Inventure along with its partner purchased this farm field to develop it into 18 commercial lots to further expand the growth of Richmond. The city had worked with 2 other development groups & were unsuccessful in moving this project along. When the city called Inventure Real Estate we knew what it would take to get the deal in place, and we acted quickly to establish the relationship with the city to create a successful partnership for the city of Richmond.
Our team worked closely with the city consultants to establish the financial future forecast of the tax base for the City of Richmond and the financial viability of this project. Assisting the city in understanding a development of this size in Richmond would create future financial sustainability for the community.
This project presents a new model for the future on how cities will create more of these developments.
Since development, we have sold 2 lots, one to a local grocer and one to Gilk’s Plumbing & Heating, a large commercial heating and A/C business.
