Under Construction: A Walk Through the Wyndham Garden Sartell

Doug Boser and Calvin Comstock walk the Wyndham Garden Sartell site: what is standing today, what finishes next, and why this corner of Highway 15.

The Wyndham Garden Sartell under construction

SARTELL, MN – September 2026 If you have driven Highway 15 through Sartell this summer, you have watched it go up. Four storeys, 50,158 square feet, on 3.66 acres beside Riverside Crossing. Doug Boser and Calvin Comstock walked the site to show what is behind the fence.

Where the build stands

The structure is topped out and the exterior is closing in. Sheathing is on, the window openings are cut, and the entrance canopy over the porte cochere is framed and decked. Inside, the ground floor is studded out — you can already walk the footprint of the lobby, the bar and lounge, the Nice & Vice marketplace and the meeting space.

Above it, the guest floors are framed for 86 keys in a standard king, junior suite and queen/queen mix. The video cuts between what is standing today and the interiors as they are designed to finish, which is the fastest way to understand a building at this stage: the shell is real, the finishes are still drawings.

Why this corner of Sartell

The site sits directly off Highway 15, which carries just over 40,000 vehicles a day, and shares a corner with Riverside Crossing — Aldi, Chipotle, Valvoline, Les Schwab and Mister Car Wash are already trading next door. CentraCare, St. Cloud Orthopedics and the University of Minnesota Medical School’s CentraCare regional campus are minutes away, and Niron Magnetics and the Sartell Business Campus are expanding within the same few square miles.

That mix is the point. Healthcare fills the nights that are hardest for a hotel to sell, Sunday through Thursday. Corporate travel fills the rest of the working week. Sartell’s ball fields, festivals and family events carry the weekends.

Inventure’s role

Inventure is the developer, the general contractor and the asset manager on this project. New Heights Hospitality will operate the hotel under the Wyndham Garden flag, in the upper midscale tier alongside Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard by Marriott. Certificate of occupancy is targeted for November 2027.

Running development, construction and asset management under one roof is the same approach we bring to owner’s representation work for clients who are building their own facility — one team accountable for the budget, the schedule and the building that gets handed over at the end of it.
